ACTORS WEEKEND BOOT CAMP
Coming to West Springfield
KATHY PATTERSON, Owner and Operator of AfterWords Actors Studio had the great pleasure of working with several West Springfield and Agawam local actors during the filming of the Jack Jonah movie (www.JacksFilm.com) last summer.
After some conversation about the art of acting, the idea of Kathy bringing some of her Studio's instructors to the West Springfield area, was born.
Kathy chose three of her best instructors to share their knowledge and experience with the actors in the West Springfield/Agawam area so they didn't have to spend thousands of dollars to drive into New York City or Boston, to get top-notch instruction!
We will be offering a weekend-long fun-filled and educational "boot camp" for local actors. While AfterWords Actors Studio normally caters to actors who are 18+, we are opening up registration to high school students (with parental consent) who wish to pursue the art of acting after graduation.
Keep your eye on this page for upcoming details; we are busy working on a weekend outline, covering all areas from Auditioning Techniques to Shakespeare to Musical Theatre! In the meantime, if there are any classes or subjects YOU would like to see addressed, please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org - we'd love hear from you!
