ONLINE Coaching

During this challenging time, we are pleased to offer ONLINE COACHING to our Actors.  Each Instructor is highly qualified and are more than happy to meet with you via Skype, Facetime, Zoom or any other platform that you find convenient.  You may contact the Instructor via their e-mail provided in their description.

Will Morris

Will Morris, until very recently, acted as the Associate Artistic Director and Production Manager at the Civic Theatre of Allentown in Allentown, PA.

 

Will was a member of Civic’s Resident Company for the 2005-2006 season. He served as Technical Director of Civic Theatre from 2007-2015. During his time at Civic, he has scenic, costume, and lighting designed numerous productions including Gypsy, Next to Normal, 33 Variations, August: Osage County, Cabaret, Rocky Horror, Carrie, and many more.

 

Will has also directed productions of The Humans, Noises Off, Who’s Holiday, Rock of Ages, God of Carnage, Beyond the Veil, Music from Down the Hill, Why We Have a Body, and The SantaLand Diaries for Civic Theatre.

 

Will also acts professionally. He has performed numerous roles on the Civic stage, including Homer Wells in The Cider House Rules, Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard, Abe Lincoln in Abe Lincoln in Illinois, and Prior Walter in Angels in America.

 

Will was educated at Furman University located in Greenville, SC where he graduated magna cum laude, receiving a B.A. in Theatre Arts. He has also performed and toured with the National Players based out of the Washington D.C. area. National Players is America’s longest running touring company, and Will was fortunate enough to be a member of its 58th annual tour. In addition to serving as the tour’s Master Electrician, he played Cassio in Shakespeare’s Othello and Merriman in Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.

 

Will is a recipient of the Emerging Artist Arts Ovation Award bestowed upon him by the Allentown Arts Commission.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT 

 

Do you hate auditions? Do you find that you aren’t getting the results you want from your auditions? I have been on the other side of the table for countless auditions, and I have insider information to share and teach. Together, we will dive into what material you currently have prepared for your auditions, discuss what you may still need for your auditions, finely craft your pieces (you can never be too prepared), and strategize methods to enact so that you can leave the room feeling confident in what you just presented.

 

I am a theatre specialist and can assist in classical, modern, and/or musical pieces to have in your repertoire. We will get back to basics, build from the ground up, and prepare you to be ready for any audition with minimal prep time. During this time of social isolation, I am currently equipped to teach via Google Meet or Skype. I am open to researching and using other platforms if needed by the student.
